Canavarların Vaatleri

Türkçe Feminist Spekülatif Kurmacaya Musallat Olanlar

(Those Who Haunt Turkish Feminist Speculative Fiction)

What do monster imaginaries tell us about the fears and anxieties lodged in society concerning the nonhuman world, women and queers? What do they say about desires and fears directed at the impossible, the fantastic, the supernatural? How do these desires and fears construct the category of “us”? What warnings do they offer about the knowledge of “us”? Who is excluded from the category of “us”, and on account of which characteristics?

Seeking answers to such questions, “Canavarların Vaatleri” has been published in the Metis Eleştiri (Metis Criticism) series. The book is in Turkish.
